When I left the children’s system and after I left, I asked them where I should go next. Some health professionals who work in the children’s hospital also work in other places and I have been able to keep seeing them using NDIS funding. I’ve also been able to contact medical professionals who helped me at the children’s hospital and could ask them to give suggestions about who could help me. This made my transition to the adult system a lot easier.
